Professional Service Fees
Grace Psychology commits to being clear and upfront about the Fees and Charges for all services and assessments. A detailed outline of your expected costs will be provided upon your initial consultation.
Fees and Charges
Our consultation rate is set at $220 per hour. This is significantly below the recommended rate by the Australian Psychological Society which is currently at $330 per hour.
A Medicare Rebate of $101.55 may be claimed by clients who have obtained a referral for psychological counselling from their GP.
Cognitive Assessment
The cognitive assessment process involves: the initial and follow up consultations, a testing session with the child (WISC-V), structured interviews with both the parent and educator (Vineland-3), clinical observations, and a detailed professional diagnostic report regarding the child’s cognitive ability and adaptive functioning.
Depending on the objectives of the referral, the expected charge would range between $1,800 and $2,400.
Learning Assessment
A learning assessment will generally involve: the initial and follow up consultations, two testing sessions with the child (WISC-V and WIAT-III), clinical observations and a detailed professional diagnostic report regarding the child’s academic progress in relation to their cognitive functioning.
Depending on the objectives of the referral, the expected charge would range between $2,200 and $2,600.
Behavioural Assessment
A behavioural assessment referral can present varied objectives. The assessment process will generally involve: the initial and follow up consultations, structured interviews/questionnaires to be completed by the child’s parent and teacher, clinical observations and a detailed psychological report.
Depending on the objectives for assessment, the expected charge would range between $1,100 and $2,200.
